EnCata carried out advanced CFD and FEA simulations to help an industrial manufacturer analyze heat and gas flow in a copper smelting furnace. The insights revealed inefficiencies, guided geometry improvements, and supported modernization across TRL 1–9.

EnCata developed a dual-circuit brain cooling system for therapeutic use in stroke rehabilitation, neurotrauma, and psychiatric care. The system includes a portable cooling control unit and a head-cooling helmet.

EnCata developed a thermal manikin testing system to evaluate fire-protective clothing. The system features high-efficiency thermal panels, a mobile manikin with 180° rotation, and a crane-beam mechanism adapted to the facility’s space and ventilation layout.

A smart soil irrigation system monitors and waters the soil in designated areas. A network of autonomous sensors, along with a control module, generates a soil moisture map and oversees the irrigation equipment fitted with docking stations.

The soil tester is designed for laboratory use to evaluate soil properties prior to designing building and structure foundations. The rig is equipped with a stabilometer chamber and a load application system, enabling the determination of soil mechanical properties under pressures of up to 16 atm.

Heat transfer computer simulations and design of a new type of ceramic gas burner employing IR-irradiation effect. The novel industrial gas burner design demonstrated superior efficiency in comparison with conventional heating modules.

Mobile system for radio communication

The project's aim was to develop an industrial design and build a prototype for the antenna. The antenna system is a mobile UHF radio communication system. It's used for navigating ships, as well as radio control of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The device is installed at a depth of up to 50 meters from the ship.

A high precision body scanner for fashion retail. The scanner design is a rotating platform with a set of digital cameras measuring body parameters. Digital images are then transferred via a Wi-Fi interface to a PC and undergo real-time conversion into a digital 3D model.

A continuously variable frictionless transmission prototype (proof-of-concept) with high torque was developed and manufactured, based on a client’s patented invention. The prototype EnCata designed and built then went for static testing and further development.
