Electronics Is More Than a PCB Layout

A PCB layout can look complete while the product is still not ready to work as a real device. The actual engineering challenge lies in power behavior, signal quality, component choice, firmware interfaces, sensor accuracy, thermal limits, and manufacturing constraints. That is why we first define what the device must measure, control, power, transmit, protect, and withstand. Only then do we translate these requirements into architecture, schematics, PCB layout, testing procedures, and production files.

Our Approach to Electronics Development

Through dozens of electronics projects, we’ve learned that a reliable board starts with well-defined requirements that shape the system architecture and every subsystem decision.

Requirements translated into circuits

We turn product requirements into power, sensing, control, connectivity, protection, UI, and test blocks (every circuit has a clear product reason behind it).

Subsystems designed as one device

PCB, firmware, enclosure, sensors, batteries, and communication modules are mapped together to avoid integration issues after the board is already routed.

Risky nodes tested first

Power rails, RF paths, analog signals, high-current circuits, and critical interfaces get extra attention because they are the most expensive to fix after PCB manufacturing.

Production files for real manufacturing

BOM, Gerbers, drilling files, assembly data, DFM/DFT notes, and component alternatives are prepared around manufacturer constraints, so the board can be built repeatedly.

Custom electronic design

Custom electronic design takes up a significant part of engineering services we provide. Our team could be your experienced electronic design consultant who will guide you through the process from TRL-3 to TRL-8. We have experience designing and manufacturing custom electronic products in more than 20 industries. Our engineers develop PCBs with communication modules, power electronics and battery management systems, industrial automation, and build internet of things networks. We utilize IoT cloud systems like AWS, Azure, GCP, and others to develop a sufficient IoT device.

Our electronic design services include custom PCB design, POC development, testing particular units or features, manufacturing the final PCB, and uploading firmware on it. As a result, you will get a fully functional electronic module or Internet of Things device and a set of documents for mass production.

PCB Design

We develop printed circuit boards of various degrees of complexity, ranging from simple 2-layer boards to boards with 8 or more layers and a rigid, flexible, or rigid-flex stack. We also have expertise in developing PCBs for digital, analog, and power electronics, mixed signals PCBs, and RF and HDI boards.

Schematic Design

The design of printed circuit boards begins with the development of a circuit. Our team develops functional, structural, schematic diagrams, and also creates connection diagrams according to which nodes and blocks are assembled into a single device or installation.

Firmware Design

Practically no modern smart device is able to function without firmware. Our company works at all stages of electronic design. For creating software for uncomplicated devices, we prefer to use C, while for developing multifaceted devices, we employ Linux Embedded. Our engineers have extensive experience of dealing with Internet of Things connectivity issues and devices.

Electrical Automation Design

We can suggest the appropriate executive mechanism and sensors based on your business needs if your aim is to build a fabrication line or a system for automating a physical process in your company. We can also select a suitable controller and program it to produce an HMI that is appropriate for your staff or end users.

Simulations

We perform a computer analysis of the boards early in their development in order to prevent interference inside the board or overheating of any components.

Reverse engineering

We can reproduce the printed circuit board based on your sample or Bill of Material. When reproducing the device, our engineers can realise both a full copy and a partial copy of the device and modify its characteristics to suit your needs.

Design for manufacturability/testability (DFM/DFT)

We perform DFM/DFT analysis to minimize PCB design changes, reduce development costs and reduce time to market.

Manufacturing support

We will designate an electronic design consultant who will be in charge of communication with the manufacturer. Some components may become outdated and even be discontinued. We will select a new component and adapt it in accordance with the production capabilities of a manufacturer. We have experience in adapting the PCB design, BOM, drilling scheme, and Gerber files.
