The Hackspace Make Center and EnCata designed and manufacture an unusual art object - acoustic mirrors. The project was sponsored by the filantropist and EPAM co-founder Leonid Lozner.
As the head of Make IT Gleb Pogorelov told dev.by how the art object was created, manufactured and installed. It took three months to create the prototype.
Parabolic reflectors (acoustic mirrors) are the physical objects that focus sound waves and amblify them. If two mirrors are placed at a distance of up to 100 meters, two people will be able to hear each other well by the magic of simple physics.
